Bestige Holdings expands senior leadership team with addition of Nate Bard

May 24, 2023 – Park City, UT. Bestige Holdings, a private investment firm focused on building and developing a portfolio of long-term, equity investments in high-potential businesses, continues to grow its senior leadership team with the addition of Nate Bard. He joins Bestige as a Partner and member of its Investment Committee.

Bard will be deeply involved in sourcing, evaluating, structuring, and executing new equity investments. Post-investment, he will collaborate with Bestige’s operating partners to drive strategic initiatives at its portfolio companies.

“I’ve known Nate Richey for almost 20 years and worked alongside him for about half of that. We’ve been discussing this partnership for years, and I am thrilled to now be joining the impressive team at Bestige,” commented Bard. “As a former executive within companies backed by private equity, I know firsthand the value of having an investment partner that can combine the right level of financial acumen with common sense and operational experience. Bestige is an investment partner that embodies that balance with a team that lives the right core values.”

“Bard is one of the rare ‘5-Tool Athletes’ in the investment world” said Nate Richey, Founder of Bestige. “He understands both the investment and operational sides of our work, which makes him perfectly poised to create value for Bestige and our broad network of partners.”

Bard joins Bestige after spending more than a decade in operational roles at ATI Physical Therapy and Triumph Orthopedic Partners. He was at Triumph for two years where he served as the CEO and founder of the business. At ATI, he led its growth from 275 clinics to over 900, serving as its Chief Growth Officer for four years as well as stints as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Development Officer. Prior to ATI, Bard was in private equity investing as a Vice President at Monomoy Capital Partners. He started his career as an investment banker with Houlihan Lokey.

Bard is based in Nashville, TN and will expand Bestige’s geographic reach into the Southeast. In addition to focusing on business and consumer services, he will also build Bestige’s capabilities in healthcare services nationally.

Bard holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Notre Dame. During his free time, he enjoys the Nashville food and music scenes, while spending time with his wife, son, and daughter.
